Linear Scraper Bridge
They are multi-component equipment used to remove sand and oil at the inlets of wastewater treatment plants or to remove sludge from rectangular section sedimentation tanks. The energy cables required for the operation of the Linear Scraper bridge, which moves linearly on a rail, are provided by C-rail and cable carrying consoles.
The sand or mud settled on the bottom of the rectangular pool pool is transferred to the storage chamber in the direction in which the bridge moves, by means of bottom scraper blades. The sand or mud is removed from the system by means of the pumps in this chamber. While the bridge moves in the other direction, the surface scrapers on the surface are in the oil-foam channel. It transfers the oil-foam or floating material to the oil-foam chamber.
After the scraper pallets perform the scraping process, they change position in the reverse movement of the Linear Bridge. Sand removal can also be done by sand pumps connected to the bridge sending the wet sand directly to the sand channel. In this case, bottom scraper pallets are not needed. In order to increase the oil-foam removal efficiency, air is supplied to the bottom of the pool through air blowers. Tube diffusers are used to distribute the air supplied to the bottom of the pool homogeneously. The surfaces in contact with water are made of AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel material, while the parts that do not come into contact with water are made of St37+Galvanized coating or stainless steel.
